Joshua Tree
Somerville's answer to Sonsie, this restaurant bar offers a less grunge-oriented place to hang out than the Someday Café, without any of Sonsie's pretentiousness. Joshua Tree caters to a grad student and hip, young professional crowd, serving good Southwestern food and a wide selection of beers in a comfortable, sociable setting that includes a bar, regular dining tables and tall bar tables with stools. In warm weather, the front of the restaurant opens up à la Sonsie for a view of The Burren. (2/98)
